The NBSS Annual Fund is the cornerstone of philanthropy at NBSS, providing unrestricted support across the entire School, funding our core operation and greatest needs each year. Every gift to the Annual Fund directly supports the instructors, staff, and students who keep NBSS thriving. By supporting the Annual Fund, you join a community of supporters who believe in our mission and contribute to our day-to-day success and strength. 

Donors of $1,000 or more to the Annual Fund are recognized among our leadership supporters as a member of the Shaw Society.

All gifts to the Annual Fund support:

• Expanding our reach, increasing diversity, and creating more points of access through Community Education and expanded partnerships
• Building a Teaching Assistant program, providing more faculty professional development, augmenting scholarships and financial aid, and addressing students’ emergency financial needs
• Investing in technology, systems, our building, and facilities, to support a diverse and growing staff who deliver on our mission
