The Story of Howard Scott’s Unfinished Violin

Listen to the story of how Nolle Pritchard, Cabinet & Furniture Making ’06 and Jess Fox, Violin Making & Repair ’06 collaborated to finish the making of a violin that was started by Nolle’s grandfather, Howard Scott, in a federal prison camp while a concientious objector in 1945. The finished violin was presented to Mr. Scott at his 87th birthday party in the town of Lacey, Washington.
