I play guitar and originally considered becoming a guitar technician. Once I learned about piano tuning as an alternative, I did a lot of research and found that it would be a great trade for me. I talked to piano technicians who helped me get started. For two years, I tried to learn piano tuning using a correspondence course. I was almost ready to quit when someone suggested NBSS. I did some research, applied and here I am.

While I’ve begun playing more piano and writing some music using the piano, I am more accomplished as a guitar player. Learning piano technology has made me a bigger fan of the piano.
