If you see a painted piano in a public space in the Boston area, you can be pretty sure it was tuned by an NBSS Piano Technology student. The pianos are part of Play Me, I’m Yours, an international project that has brought pianos to 37 cities around the world. The pianos are available for all to play until October 14, 2013.

Michael Wilson PA ’12 (right) is the local organizer for the project. In the summer of 2011, he worked to keep pianos in tune when the project was in New York City. This year in Boston, he has organized the piano donations, the artists who painted the pianos and the team of current NBSS students who are keeping the Boston pianos in tune. Find one and play… details and a map with piano locations is online.
