Before I came to NBSS, I went to the School of the Museum of Fine Arts for just long enough to discover that they just did not have enough classes about books.

Fortunately, Anne Pelikan, the instructor for my artist books class, told us about North Bennet Street School. I went to an indecent number of workshops and loitered around the bindery more than I probably ought to, and applied with great apprehension to the full-time program. And I got in! Don’t be afraid to apply. Some of us had never even made a book at the beginning of the program.

When I am not making books, I am out dancing lindy and blues.
