A series of talks for emerging craft and trade professionals on starting and growing a creative business

Now in its sixth season, In the Making returns January through May 2026 with an eight episode series focused on supporting the transition from student to professional. In Crafting a Business, alumni and community partners will share firsthand insights on key aspects of starting a business—from shaping a livelihood and setting up a workshop to purchasing an existing creative business.
