After a long career in the medical device field, I was ready for a change. As part of my exploration of different possibilities for a new career, I took some of the workshops offered at NBSS.
It was during the Historic Timber Framing workshop that I discovered that Preservation Carpentry had all the elements I was looking for.
Once making the decision to pursue that path, one of my biggest challenges was developing a financial plan that would work.
When not at work, I enjoy aviation, astronomy, and wood turning.
