Craft Activities for Kids: Coming Soon!
Categories
Community EducationAll of the instructors at North Bennet Street School have been brainstorming ideas to keep their students engaged in hands-on learning while at home. This is just as true for our Middle School instructors, including woodworking teachers Emily Fazzina CF ’18 and Emily Natale!
Watch a short video check-in with Emily and Emily, previewing some fun upcoming activities just for younger learners. Download the activity worksheets and coloring pages.
From our founding in 1881, NBSS has partnered with several local schools to provide hands-on learning experiences. In recent years, the School renewed partnerships which invite students from the Eliot K-8 Innovation School, St. John School, and Donald McKay K-8 School to NBSS for book arts and woodworking classes.
Coming soon, Emily and Emily have some fun projects lined up for you to try at home. But first, you’ll need to gather some supplies:
- Paper towel or toilet paper rolls
- Clean cardboard from your recycling bin
- Duct tape or painters tape
- Glue
- Scissors
- Ruler
As you color and fill out your worksheets, we’d love for you to share them with us! Send them directly to Emily and Emily at ce@nbss.edu, or tag @nbssboston or #nbssboston on Facebook and Instagram.
