Annual Evening and Annual Exhibit success
This year’s Annual Evening of Traditional Craft was an overwhelming success, with more than 470 guests and the highest fundraising total in the event’s 14-year history – more than $163,000. Proceeds from the event are used for scholarships for current and future students.
The evening happened at a unique moment as the school prepares to move to a new home on North Street in September and complete the $15 million Under One Roof capital campaign. The camaraderie of fine craftsmanship and celebration of the new facility made this event a night to remember!
The exhibit associated with the Annual Evening of Traditional Craft included work of both alumni and students and was on view for two weeks at Two International Place, May 12 – 24. The exhibit was curated by Walter McDonald, former NBSS Associate Director. The exhibit was reviewed on the Design New England blog. Read the review.
