Brent Hull PC ’93
I have never done anything quite as valuable as spending time at NBSS. The training and lessons I learned are with me to this day and have shaped who I’ve become. Going to NBSS is like an old world apprenticeship where you learn about, and create, long lost crafts.
I was blown away by my first visit to NBSS. There is no other place to get this type of training. If you want to set yourself apart, NBSS will give you more credibility and knowledge than you could get with 10 years in the field. It is the best money you will ever spend.
I had no training before the Preservation Carpentry program. I was a recent college graduate, teacher, and coach. Immediately after graduating from NBSS in 1993, I was able to start my own company in Texas. We have grown into a well-respected contractor and historic millwork provider with clients across the country. We design and build custom homes and historically accurate architectural millwork. I have written two books and still write and speak for various trade magazines and builder/homeowner groups. I teach historic preservation as well. This is my passion and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my career.
