Annette Lippert CF ’14
Prior to attending NBSS, I worked as an architect on large-scale public projects designing schools, university buildings and courthouses. A physical product at the end of my workday has always been important to me.
I decided to change my career because I wanted to be able to see projects through from design to fabrication. Now I am looking forward to not only working out the details in drawings, but also going into the shop and building the pieces myself. When looking for a school, I looked for high standards of quality and complete dedication to the handcraft of furniture making.
During my free time, I enjoy cooking and baking up a storm – I’m a total foodie! I’m also always working in my yard or on my house. There is usually a home improvement project waiting to which I can apply the knowledge I learned at NBSS.
