Sean McGowan LK ’12

I’m originally from Vermont. After high school, I studied engineering at Montana State. Most recently, I worked at a ski resort in Vermont. I enjoy mechanical things and fell into locksmithing. My mother found out about the school and I applied.

The nine-month intensive program allows you to go directly into the trade after graduating. Additionally, the morning hours made it possible for me to work in the afternoons. Currently, I’m working in a lock and hardware shop in Brookline. I hope to move back to Vermont or Montana where I can work as a locksmith and ski.
