Sandy Weymouth CF ’18 and Rebekah Lord Gardiner BB ’93 bring firsthand insight into the daunting—but essential—work of building and sustaining a shared shop. Founded in 2018, Shepherd & Maudsleigh Studio offers 12,000 square feet of community art space for printmaking, painting, and fiber arts, while Southshore Woodworks is a more recently converted cooperative space now welcoming woodworkers.

Live from NBSS on Thursday April 30 at 11:00 am, Sandy and Rebekah will discuss the challenges and rewards of building the collaborative spaces that keep our crafts and trades community thriving.
