In the Making: Bootmaking with Saboteuse

Sarah Madeleine T. Guerin—artist, bootmaker, and scholar—will join us in-person and virtually for a conversation on the craft of shoemaking. We’ll explore the historically significant shoe industry of our region and her specialized artistry in Western bootmaking.

Through Sarah’s unrushed and deliberate process, each stitch and decision gradually builds beautiful, handmade boots that tell a unique story, celebrating this traditional American craft.
