Shaping a Livelihood with Morgan Fog CF ’24 and Jennifer Chen PT ’20, PA ’21

While studying Cabinet & Furniture Making at NBSS, Morgan Fog CF ’24 continued measuring and rigging high-performance sailing vessels. After graduating, he combined both skills—measuring racing yachts along the East Coast and building furniture in his custom container workshop—creating a lifestyle and shaping a livelihood that supports both.

In a similar pursuit of a self-defined livelihood, Jennifer Chen has filled her life with effort and opportunity including an MBA from Yale, co-founding and advising the American Modern Opera Company, and working with institutions such as the Boston Symphony Orchestra, NYC Ballet, Peabody Essex Museum, and Sound Postings (the Office of Yo-Yo Ma). In 2020, to add a consistent and tactile dimension to her livelihood, Jennifer graduated from the Basic and Advanced Piano Technology programs at NBSS and became a Registered Piano Technician.

Join us live from NBSS in conversation with Morgan and Jennifer on Thursday, January 29 at 11:00 am.
